Would be my choice.

Lives locally (Liskeard) and great experience.

Hope this is the way the board see it.

He would look at our budget and laugh, we have to go lower down the pecking order.

We are not an attractive club for anyone at the moment.

Hargreaves is the only one crazy enough to take the job.

You only have to look at the financial problems he left behind at Plymouth and Southend to realise that our budget wouldn't even get him out of bed.

Would love Hargreaves to come in but can't see it to be honest!!

Anyways, my Cobblers supporting friend seems to think they are looking at him!!

Hargreaves 3/1 on for the Cobblers job:

I was a bit surprised at this to be honest, especially as the same betting site has Hargreaves as favourite for the Torquay job.

you dont know what you are talking about. He inherited Southend, in adminsitration with about 3 players. Got them into the play-offs and the Paint Trophy final. He didn't cause the financial problems there.

Neither at Plymouth. That was the new world.consortium chasing the world cup.

Aplymouth supporting mare has read sturrock would be interested. If so, he would be my first choice. But then according to you the club could not and would not sack Knill. Perhaps you not quite so up with what is going on as you like to.pretend.

I do know what I'm talking about and as usual you jump in with your stupid ill-thought out replies. Did I say he was responsible? My point which you missed totally by not reading my post correctly was that his budgets at both clubs were vastly superior to anything we could even dream of.

You said about the financial problems he left behind. That, to most people, would be an inference that he was responsible for said financial problems. If that is not what you meant, it certainly reads that way.

I have heard that Sturrock will take over - from the same source who confirmed Knill's sacking before it was official.

No, only to a fool jumping in with both feet to make amends for being made to look like an idiot as you were just yesterday.

Be my guest, carry on misreading what I write.

Can't believe Sturrocks even in the running. With the greatest respect to him and Ling how could we afford to employ a manager that's not in the greatest of health?

I'd be happy to see him appointed but just can't see our budget being an attractive proposition to him.

I don't know, maybe the chance for one last shot at management (and a geographically convenient one at that) may appeal?
