Blimey, I wasn't expecting another striker. I guess this means Hawley will be offloaded or run down his contract, as Goodwin, Stockley, Benyon, Yeoman and arguably Sullivan to fit into a maximum of 2 places ahead of him. Its a shame as I really think in the right formation Benyon will score us goals, but assuming Goodwin and Stockley will be first choice for the month at least. Lets hope they do the business.

Scored 14 in 15 at youth level, Liverpool were looking at him.

Sounds a promising young player, here's hoping he can bag a few for us.

I know it's at conference south level but his goal is a belter! From about 2 mins 50.

Doesn't matter what level it's at, goals like that are equally difficult in the BSS as they are in the Premier League. The goal is the same size all round.

Anyone know anything on how this came about? Seems pretty out of left field.

Seems a totally odd signing to me. The poster who suggested that him and Stockley are going to be first choice? - are you having a laugh. He is totally inexperienced, hasn't played for anyone - think you may well find that Benyon maybe uppermost in Hargreaves mind.

I hope so brucie, I just find it really hard to understand bringing in a loan striker who won't be first choice, when he's just recalled Yeoman. I can't see that Goodwin won't be first choice otherwise why bring him in. It makes very little sense.

yes, thats absolutely ok, just seems strange to sign a young forward when we already have 5 forwards on the books, unless he's going to start, WHICH IS WHAT WE WERE DISCUSSING, OK?
