I don't see it as that easy and its back to reality.
This is a gritty division and the teams who do well out of the pack with our size of budget are the sides with the best mind set.
We won't know how we are equipped from that viewpoint for a while.

I do think Rendell is a better footballer than Jarvis. Both are capable of hard work and of the two and the way the team seems to be being set up I think Rendell may be the better proposition. There is no point trying to compare Rendell to Howe they are very different types of players and if we want a Howe play alike - it won't be Rendell.

It is getting a bit worrying. I am particularly concerned about the Rene Howe replacement. Rene I feel did a lot of the work for a team that was not playing very well. When he got seemingly frustrated after Christmas we cascaded downward. The signing to date have been positive but the quality (or otherwise) of his replacement will be key to our season.

Can't agree with you this time Brucie. I thought Rendell and Benyon played really well off one another.
