Re: Fifa 12

Played the demo and love it far better than Pro evo. Although I'm not to sure on the new defending interface, my usual tactic is taking a hammering :'(.

Lads its the Commetarys that are wrong it is pronounced O-lej-nik not Olenik.

That boy Bobby Olejnik
Makes bevan look shite.

Bobby deserves a song and considering we dont have any players who can play on the left and right(except Danny.. ) I think this is a pretty decent chant :)

Thoughts?

instead of that boy just bobby olejnik

dannyrvtufc4life wrote:I think when we sing "Everywhere we go" when it gets to the "Yellow Army" part some fans should sing "Martin Lings'." For example, Were the Yellow Army, (Were the Yellow Army) Yellow Army, (Yellow Army), Yellow Army, (Martin Lings), Yellow Army, (Martin Lings), Yellow Army! etc I think that will sound pretty good. What do others think?
hibs use it up here 'calderwoods green and white Army'.

it sounds decent in the stadium (the vids on youtube do it no justice) and there's about 50 folk singing it.

bad thing is it goes on for at least 20 minutes, but would be a perfect in yer face buckle moment

Re: No keeper on the bench

I understand where your coming from on both fronts. That is a downfall when an outfield player is better than our backup keeper. But easily fixed extra training sessions, although it will take time. What I should've said in my first post though is that it is soul-destroying for a keeper to sit on the bench and do nothing (speaking from personal experience). But as I said I would always play it safe regardless of how good or bad the lad is!

Re: No keeper on the bench

IMO (and probably a bit biased) you should ALWAYS have keeper cover. I'd rather play it safe and have a keeper sitting on the bench I.C.E than have no cover incase of a red card/injury, especially in the modern game the amount of keepers now playing sweeper keeper.

Give the Gaffer time, as far as I'm aware season hasn't started yet (well competitively anyway) I think IMHO that Olejink is a fantastic signing and is poss better than Bevan!!
