I would expect Kite to go to a League 1 or League 2 club.PainInTheGULLiver85 wrote: 09 May 2025, 09:43 Harry Kite would be an excellent signing. We may have a fight with yeovil to get him signed on.

As I understand it Torquay had four players last season who were supposedly part time and they were not the weakest or slowest players in the squad,I havent heard anything to say they are changing the hybrid model, so logically tyler could come to us. To be totally full time and get the best players you need to pay top dollar and I am not sure we have that financial capability at the moment. Besides it did not do truro much harm last season who had seven part time players.gullno4 wrote: 10 May 2025, 15:02 Connor Riley Lowe? Think he’s turned us down before on account of rather staying part time.

Seeing as we signed a whole new squad last summer i think you know the answer to thatDilmond wrote: 10 May 2025, 10:17 Oh no, is Wotton not aware that there are other clubs in the country that you can get players from?
An opportunity to pick up a title winning player or 2 who would be interested in playing/ live locally / will fit into our budget structure sounds pretty sensible to me

Rumoured Truro wanted 100K in the summer for him, he signed a "multi-year" contract in Augustculmstockgull wrote: 10 May 2025, 12:09 Welcomed, I would go and pick him up, 27 goals last season and top scorer in the south, that signing alone would turbo charge seaosn ticket sales.

Heard the same. I'd hope we can get Harvey but there will be plenty of players out there.UnitedinDevon wrote: 10 May 2025, 17:30 Rumoured Truro wanted 100K in the summer for him, he signed a "multi-year" contract in August
Hope we can get Jenkins Davies signed, plenty of potential and could really crack on with a run of games, although would like to see him arriving late in the box ala Platt or Lampard. Maybe he can play off the left as an inside forward.
Including loans, and if memory serves me right, Wotton signed more players from Bath and Yeovil than he did from Truro,so I'd guess he does know they're other clubs.

Do we want a couple of Truro part timers - No doubt Riley-Lowe will be one of them - hes got no pace either.

"No better deliverer of a football in the league, your next club will be lucky to have you."
Best to take with a grain of salt, being ex team mates an all. As with the comments from fans on his exit. "I think you become like a fine wine and just getting better with age."
Not sure if he's left Bath due to a decline or other reasons. But wouldn't be against him as a wing option based on his past at Bath, FGR & Motherwell - if he's still got it.

"An opportunity to pick up a title winning player or 2!" Oh please!
"Who would be interested in playing / live locally!" Wouldn't that be lovely, being able to walk to play at Plainmoor on a Saturday from your own house!
There you have described why we play in the National League South, and until the owners, manager and supporters get out of this mentality, in the National League South we will continue to play!

There's no endless pot of money here, if we can pick up some squad depth for good money to then enable us to add some pace and quality - that's going to cost more - then I'm all for it

If we are able to sign a player from the Outer Hebrides who is a decent player, and costs the same money as one of the endless squad/okay for this level of football, local player, then I'm going for the wee Jock!
