We do need the big strong centre forward type player - perhaps Owers has someone in mind? I increasingly like the cut of the jib so far.

Concur but we do need building blocks in place. We have two young and inexperienced keepers who we hope will develop over the season. The team is still not fully balanced, suspect we still need another central defender, midfielder and most of all a robust centre forward. Some of these may already have come and gone without signing so there is a degree of pressure on Owers to deliver in order to meet his promises made for the forthcoming season. We cannot afford to be slack over the first few games of the season since too many points could be lost. If we are to bounce back emphatically (as promised) we need to be well ready on August 4 - just 3 weeks from Saturday!

Struggling and Torquay - words that go too well together. Can only hope we secure a further 2-3 signings today or tomorrow (optimitiscally of course we may have already done so but the club has not released the details, pessimistically we will have another season of struggle)! Hope the friendlies show we have some character!

New home and away kits for 2018/19 are expected apparently.

Owers did infer he wanted another central defender - Effete could do the job.

Certainly can’t say we have over prepared for the forthcoming campaign!

Hopefully will will land a keeper soon?!

We need consistency for the whole season not losing such an important team player after 6 months. Hopefully there will be two keepers signed soon?
