IMHO - Loan players should be better than our current squad members, we do not need Bench Warmers thank you very much.
It was no surprise to see him go down with a hamstring injury after just coming on, as our half time time warm up routine (if I can call it that) is akin to a Pub team.
NB:Jake McCourt (another loanee bench warmer) was also feeling the back of his leg after continually hoofing the ball 50 yards across the pitch.
Conversely, recent visiting teams have been completing proper squad warm ups.

Player to bring in (suggestions)
10 days until the start of the season and we haven't secured a quality striker or centre back. Could it be due to Knil's budget not being that attractive this season?
On a more positve note, there is a slight possibility of uncovering a couple of decent (desperate) players in the coming days.

Re: League 2: Southend United vs Torquay United
I have a simple yard stick.
Look to the quality and experience on the bench, do we have the players to change a game?
When we use our impact players as regular starters, IMHO,we are already deep in the sh*t.
The board should give him a target for the next 5 games (20 games gone) and also start considering their options should this objective fail.
As it's fastly approaching November 5th, somebody needs a rocket up thier arse, so lets start with the person who has the most influence on the 1st and reserve team performances.

Re: Is Ling being found out?
You only have to look at the quality of our bench. We have no strenght in depth, which translates to no competition for places. Shouting out for Ellis to come on was pure desparation in my view. 5-2 down lets bring on a defender / use to be striker when he was 12!
Starting any game with Danny Stephens (the last 2 being his better performances apparently) where we managed to lose to a 10 man Bradford team and then gave him Man of the Match in a 5 -2 drubbing in the next reflects the dire contributions the other squad members are making!
Put out a list of your best 11 and then ask yourself if they really deserve to be there on merit. Then look to your bench for inspiration!

Re: Game you're most looking forward to.
The game that takes us to 50 points!
After our squad has been raped by Buckle, my confidence for next season is very low.
Buckle has been preparing for his next season since January. The speed of his 8 signings proves that point.
When I discover that we are trying to court Stevens into being our 1st signature, I can see the old familiar roller coaster footballing ride.
Bring on the next lorry load of Reeds , Priscos and Brabins.

Danny needs to be given the same treatment as Kevin Nicholson got.
Kev's attitude was " f*ck you Buckle , I'll show you that I'm good enough for this league!

Re: How will you welcome Bucks back next season
The man had the best of budgets to get back into the League. After promotion it was disclosed that we took a huge financial risk which could have back fired.
IMHO our team tactics and performance levels only improved when John Milton arrived. However I will say that Buckle has been able tame some of the leagues more volatile players and get them playing football. Zeb, Branston and Stanley come to mind.
Good luck to Paul Buckle, lets hope that JM can also offer up a good replacment for PB along side a few other signings.
Given our sitution I would rather be playing League 2 (lots of derbies) with a new manager and with ground restrictions instead of League 1 with no budget, ground restrictions and PB having one eye on another club.
1st priority next season is to avoid relagation, hopefully with free flowing football rather than Hoof ball.
